Selatogrel · Suspected acute MI
A 67-year-old man, 8 months post-STEMI, was prescribed selatogrel as an at-home rescue for suspected acute MI. The auto-injector lives in the drawer next to his bed. At 2:14 a.m. he wakes his wife: pressure in his chest, tightness across his jaw, sweating. It's not like his usual reflux. He's had two false alarms in the last three months where he waited it out and it passed. He does not want to be the boy who cried wolf again.
